Finally, a meeting assistant that actually assists
Most meeting tools record your conversations and produce transcripts. Some add summaries or pull out action items. But then what? You still have to figure out who should handle each task, update your CRM with the new information, and draft all the follow-up emails.
Quin can now join your meetings
The new Meeting Assistant feature goes beyond note taking to actually handle the work that comes after your conversations. Instead of giving you more to process, it processes everything for you—turning meeting discussions into completed CRM updates, assigned tasks, and drafted follow-ups while you focus on your next priority.
How it works: from calendar invite to completed actions
Once you've connected your calendar to Quin, the Meeting Assistant can join any of your scheduled meetings automatically. You can also manually add Quin to specific calendar invites, just like you'd invite a team member. Once in the meeting, Quin listens and processes everything in real-time. You don't need to think about it during the conversation—just focus on the people you're talking with.
After the meeting ends, Quin immediately gets to work. Within minutes, you'll receive an email with a structured summary of what happened. But unlike other tools that stop at documentation, Quin has already taken action on everything that needs follow-up.
What happens while you move to your next meeting
While you're reviewing that summary email, Quin has already:
- Identified and created tasks with appropriate deadlines based on commitments made during the conversation
- Updated contact records with new information mentioned (job changes, email addresses, project details)
- Drafted follow-up emails that reference specific discussion points and confirm next steps
- Assigned work to team members based on the type of task and your established preferences
Here's an example of a summary email Quin sent me after a meeting with John, one of our customers:

You can also customize how this works
You can adjust everything: the format of your meeting summary emails, which team members get assigned specific types of tasks, how contact records should be updated, and what tone your follow-up emails should use.
The meeting assistant feature can be toggled on or off completely, and you have control over which meetings Quin joins. By default, Quin joins external meetings with clients and prospects. But you can change this to "Any external meetings" or "All meetings" if you want broader coverage. You can also choose which calendar Quin monitors for meetings.
I've set mine to "All meetings" so Quin joins our internal team meetings too, not just external client calls. This has been so helpful because now Quin sends me summaries of tasks we discussed in the meetings, and I can easily add those to our internal project management system, Notion. We don't have a Notion integration yet, but I'm nudging our team on this one. ;)
You can also customize what Quin includes in your meeting recaps using guidelines. For example, you might tell Quin to "Always draft a follow-up email," "Always highlight any client fears or concerns in the meeting notes," or "Always create an opportunity in the CRM for the attendee if no open opportunities exist." These guidelines ensure your meeting summaries include exactly what matters for your workflow.

When meeting content automatically becomes CRM updates, assigned tasks, and drafted communications, you can actually move from one meeting to the next without everything piling up on your to-do list.
