Thinking of you
Personalized outreach to contacts who haven't been contacted in 90 days.
I want to maintain meaningful connections with people in my network by reaching out when we haven't been in touch for a while. This workflow identifies external contacts (clients/prospects) I haven't communicated with in 90 days and creates personalized, value-driven outreach emails for me to review.
Follow these steps:
1. Look at my emails and calendar from the time frame of 90-97 days ago, to identify external contacts I sent emails to or had meetings with during that period. Exclude internal contacts like co-workers. Also exclude people who were trying to sell something to me - focus only on relationships I'm actively building or maintaining.
2. For each contact identified, check whether there have been any emails sent or meetings held with that person in the 90 days since that initial communication.
3. For contacts with no contact in the past 90 days, search their CRM record for personal interests, hobbies, or topics they care about.
4. For each contact without recent communication, search the web for an interesting, relevant article related to their personal interest or hobby. The article should be recent, high-quality, and genuinely worth sharing.
5. Draft a personalized email in my draft folder for each contact. Follow these rules:
- Keep the tone warm and genuine with a "thinking of you" feel.
- Do not make it sound like a generic "just checking in" email.
- Lead with the article or insight as the reason for reaching out.
- Mention why you thought of them specifically when you saw this article.
- Include the article link and a brief explanation of why it's interesting or relevant to them.
- Keep it conversational and personal, not salesy or transactional.
- Use the following example for inspiration:

6. Send me an email with a summary of all contacts who haven't been contacted in 90 days. Include their names, the personal interest used for the article, and the article topic. This will serve as a notification for me to check my drafts folder to review and send the emails.
