Daily Brief sends you a morning email with everything you need to know for the day. Each brief includes your schedule, meeting preparation notes, tasks that need attention, and important follow-ups. You can customize what Quin includes by adding guidelines that tell Quin what matters most to you.

Before you begin

Connect your calendar in Settings > Integrations so Quin can include your upcoming meetings in the brief.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings > Daily Brief.
  2. Toggle Daily Brief on.
  3. Select your preferred Delivery hour from the dropdown menu.
  4. Add Daily brief guidelines to customize what Quin includes (optional).

Guidelines are instructions that tell Quin what to include or prioritize in your brief, like "Always include prep for internal meetings and all meetings for the day" or "Highlight overdue tasks at the top."

What to expect

You receive a Daily Brief email at your chosen time each morning. The brief includes your schedule for the day, preparation notes for upcoming meetings (like client background from your CRM or notes from previous conversations), tasks that need attention, and important follow-ups. If you added guidelines, Quin tailors the content to match your preferences. For example, if your guideline asks for travel reminders, Quin includes those when relevant.

Daily Brief can include information like:

  • Your meeting schedule with attendees and times
  • Preparation notes for meetings, including client background from your CRM
  • Summaries from previous conversations with meeting attendees
  • Tasks due today or overdue from earlier in the week
  • Follow-ups needed from recent meetings
  • Important emails that need replies
  • Travel reminders when you have flights or appointments
  • Client milestones like birthdays or contract anniversaries
  • Top priorities pulled from your task list
  • New contacts or updates in your CRM

The specific content varies based on your schedule, connected tools, and any guidelines you've set.

Common questions

Can I change the delivery time?
Yes. Go to Settings > Daily Brief and select a different delivery hour from the dropdown menu.

What if I don't receive my brief?

Can I pause the brief temporarily?
Yes. Toggle Daily Brief off in Settings > Daily Brief. You can turn it back on anytime without losing your settings.

How do guidelines work?
Guidelines tell Quin what to include or prioritize in your brief. For example, "Always include prep for internal meetings" ensures those meetings get preparation notes, or "Highlight client birthdays" makes sure Quin surfaces those milestones.
