Update your name, email addresses, phone numbers, and timezone in Quin. Manage your contact information and set default communication preferences for meetings and reminders.

Your Quin profile stores your contact information, including your name, email addresses, phone numbers, and timezone. This information helps Quin communicate with you and others, send reminders, and schedule meetings in the correct timezone.

How to set it up

  1. Click your profile picture in the bottom-left corner
  2. Select My profile
  3. Update your First Name and Last Name if needed
  4. Add or manage email addresses:
    • Click Add new email to add additional email addresses
    • Click Make default next to an email to set it as your primary contact
    • Click the trash icon to remove an email address
  5. Add or manage phone numbers:
    • Click Add new phone to add additional phone numbers
    • Click Make default next to a phone number to set it as your primary contact
    • Click the trash icon to remove a phone number
  6. Update your Timezone from the dropdown menu

Your default email address is used for sending meeting recaps, follow-up emails, and other Quin notifications. Your default phone number is used for SMS reminders when enabled.

What to expect

After updating your profile, Quin uses this information across all features. Your default email address appears as the sender on emails Quin drafts, and your default phone number receives SMS reminders. Your timezone ensures meeting times display correctly and reminders send at the appropriate local time. Changes to your profile take effect immediately.

Managing your profile information

You can update your profile information at any time. To change which email or phone number is your default, click Make default next to your preferred option. The default designation helps Quin know which contact method to prioritize for notifications and communications.

Troubleshooting

I can't remove my primary email address

  • Your primary email address (marked as Default) cannot be removed because it's your account login
  • To use a different primary email, first add the new email, then click Make default next to it
  • You can then remove the old email address if desired

My timezone isn't showing correctly

  • Click the Timezone dropdown and search for your city or timezone
  • Quin uses your timezone to schedule meetings and send reminders at the correct local time
  • If your timezone changes due to travel, update it in your profile to keep everything accurate

Changes to my profile aren't saving

  • Check your internet connection and try again
  • Make sure you've clicked outside the field after making changes
  • If the issue persists, refresh the page and try updating your profile again

I need to add multiple email addresses for different purposes

  • You can add multiple email addresses to your profile
  • Set one as your default for general Quin communications
  • Quin will recognize you in meetings regardless of which email address is on the calendar invite
