Connect Quin to Clio Manage to automatically log meeting notes, create tasks, update contacts, and track matters after every call.

The Clio integration connects Quin to Clio Manage so your meeting activity is automatically logged without manual data entry. After each meeting, Quin can update contact records, create tasks, log communications, add notes to matters, and more — all based on what was discussed.

Before you begin

  • You must have an active Clio Manage account
  • Your calendar must be connected to Quin. Go to Settings > Integrations to connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook if you haven't already

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Find Clio and click Connect
  3. Sign in to your Clio account and authorize Quin to access your data
  4. Return to Quin and go to Settings > Workflows > Notetaker
  5. Make sure Notetaker is turned on
  6. (Optional) Add guidelines to control how Quin logs activity in Clio — for example, "Always link notes to the relevant matter" or "Create a follow-up task when a deadline is mentioned." Guidelines are instructions that tell Quin how to handle your meetings. Manage them at Settings > Guidelines

What to expect

After connecting Clio, Quin will log activity to the relevant contact records following each meeting. Depending on what was discussed, Quin may create tasks with due dates, add notes to matters, log communications, or update contact details. You can review everything in Clio Manage after the meeting recap is generated.

Troubleshooting

Quin isn't logging activity to Clio after meetings

Tasks or notes aren't appearing in the right matter

  • Make sure the contact is associated with the correct matter in Clio
  • Use guidelines to instruct Quin on how to match activity to matters — for example, "Always log notes to the open matter for this contact"

Clio disconnected or showing an error

  • Go to Settings > Integrations, disconnect Clio, and reconnect
  • Make sure your Clio account has the necessary permissions to allow third-party integrations
