Form filler

Fill forms lets you take one saved template and a CSV, then generate one filled document per spreadsheet row.

You can also run a workflow on each document after it is generated, which is useful when every form needs a follow-up step like review or delivery.

Before you begin

You need a template with fields before you can fill anything. You create templates in Settings > Templates. Learn more about Templates

How to set it up

1. Open the Quin menu and choose Fill forms
2. Select Fill a form
3. Under Template, choose the template you want to fill
4. Under CSV file, upload your spreadsheet. If you don't have one yet, download a blank CSV whose headers match the template fields and fill it in.
5. Under Column mapping, match each template field to a column in your CSV. Any field you leave unmapped uses the template default.
6. (Optional) Choose a workflow under After each document if you want Quin to run one once your documents are ready. Leave it on Just generate documents to skip this step.
7. Select Generate documents

The button shows the number of rows in your CSV, so you can confirm you are about to create the right number of documents.

Preparing your CSV

Quin writes each cell value onto the form exactly as it appears in the CSV. It does not reformat anything, so format dates in your spreadsheet to match the form, such as mm/dd/yyyy.

What to expect

After you select Generate documents, a progress view shows Quin building your files, one per row. When the run finishes, you can download each file individually or download a zip of all of them. Every run stays in your Fill forms list with the template name, CSV name, row count, and status, so you can come back to it later. Download links expire after 30 days, so save your files before then. If you chose a workflow, Quin generates all the documents first, then opens a chat and runs that workflow separately for each file. You can follow that work in the chat.

Hour usage

Quin runs one small AI check for each row when it fills a form, which uses a small amount of your monthly hours. A workflow uses hours like a normal chat, on top of the fill itself, and the amount depends on what the workflow does. Visit Billing & usage to see how many hours you have used.

Troubleshooting

I can't find my template in the list

• Confirm the template exists in Settings > Templates
• Check that the template has fields. A template without fields can't be filled.

A date looks wrong on the finished form

• Open your CSV and check how the date is written in the cell
• Reformat the column to match the form, such as mm/dd/yyyy, then upload the file and run it again

A field on the form is blank or shows a default value

• Go back to Column mapping and check that the field is mapped to a column
• Remember that unmapped fields use the template default

My download link no longer works

• Download links expire after 30 days. Run the form again to generate fresh files.

The workflow didn't start

• Check that you selected a workflow under After each document before generating
• Quin starts the workflow in a new chat after the documents are ready, so open your chats to follow its progress
