Google Meet
Connect Google Meet to Quin for automatic meeting attendance, note-taking, and follow-ups. Quin joins your calls, captures discussions, and creates summaries without manual effort.
Connecting Google Meet to Quin allows your assistant to automatically join your meetings, capture notes, and generate follow-up tasks. Quin joins scheduled meetings on your calendar or joins instantly when you share a meeting link.
Before you begin
You need a Google account with access to Google Meet.
How to set it up
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Click Add Integration
- Select Google Meet from the list
- Click Connect and sign in to your Google account
- Review the permissions Quin requests (access to join meetings and view calendar)
- Click Allow to complete the connection
Your Google Meet integration will now appear as "Active" in your Integrations page.
What to expect
After connecting Google Meet, Quin automatically joins meetings that appear on your Google Calendar with Meet links. Quin enters at the scheduled start time, captures discussion notes and action items, then generates a summary immediately after the call ends. You can also share a Meet link directly with Quin to have it join on demand.
Examples:
- You schedule a meeting in Google Calendar with a Google Meet link and Quin joins automatically at the start time
- You send Quin a meeting link and say "Join my meeting" and Quin enters immediately to start taking notes
- After your meeting ends, Quin delivers a recap with key points, action items, and follow-up tasks
How it works
Quin manages your Google Meet attendance and note-taking:
Automatic joining - Quin monitors your Google Calendar and joins any meeting with a Google Meet link at the scheduled time.
Note capture - During the meeting, Quin listens and captures discussion points, decisions, and action items in real-time.
Meeting summaries - After each call, Quin generates a summary with key takeaways and suggested follow-up tasks.
CRM sync - Meeting notes and action items automatically sync with your connected CRM and appear in your Quin chat.
On-demand joining - Share any Google Meet link with Quin and ask it to join, even for unscheduled meetings.
Managing the integration
To disconnect Google Meet:
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Find the Google Meet integration
- Click Disconnect
- Confirm to stop automatic meeting joining
Disconnecting stops Quin from automatically joining future Google Meet calls. Existing meeting notes remain in your account.
