Zapier

Connect Quin to thousands of apps through Zapier. Automatically ask questions, draft emails, extract data, generate content, and delegate tasks by triggering Quin actions from your favorite tools.

Zapier connects Quin to over 7,000 apps, letting you automate workflows by triggering Quin actions from other tools. When events happen in your connected apps—like a form submission, a new lead in your CRM, or a Slack message—you can automatically have Quin draft emails, extract information, generate content, answer questions, perform tasks, summarize content, or search for details.

Before you begin

First, you need a Zapier account to create integrations with Quin.

Note: The Quin connector is currently in beta, so you MUST use the beta invite URL to access it. If you try to search for Quin in Zapier without using this invite link, the connector will not appear.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations in Quin
  2. Find Zapier and click Connect
  3. Copy the Api Key from the configuration settings
  4. Click create a new Zap inside Zapier using the beta invite URL
  5. In Zapier, select a trigger app and event (the app that starts your automation)
  6. Configure your trigger and test it
  7. Click Add action and search for Quin
  8. Select one of Quin's actions from the available options
  9. Paste your Api Key when prompted to connect your Quin account
  10. Configure the action fields with data from your trigger
  11. Test your Zap and turn it on

Your Zapier integration status in Quin will show as Active once you've successfully connected and created at least one Zap.

What to expect

After setup, your Zaps run automatically when the trigger event occurs. When your connected app sends data to Zapier, Quin processes the action you configured and returns the result—like a drafted email, extracted information, generated content, task completion, summary, search results, or an answer to your question. The results appear in subsequent Zap steps, where you can send them to other apps or use them in your workflow. Each trigger event processes once through Quin to avoid duplicate actions.

Managing your Zaps

All Zap management happens in your Zapier account. You can edit triggers, modify Quin action configurations, add filter conditions, turn Zaps on or off, and view run history at zapier.com. Changes to your Zaps take effect immediately without requiring updates in Quin. If you disconnect Zapier from Quin by removing the integration, all existing Zaps stop running until you reconnect with a new Api Key.
