Constant Contact

Connect Constant Contact to Quin to search and manage contacts, organize lists, apply tags, and keep your audience data current without switching apps.

Connect your Constant Contact account to let Quin search contacts, manage list membership, and keep your audience data up to date. You can add contacts, apply tags, check list membership, and create new lists directly through conversation.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Find Constant Contact and click Connect
  3. Sign in to your Constant Contact account when prompted
  4. Review the permissions Quin is requesting
  5. Click Allow to authorize the connection

After connecting, Quin can search your contacts, manage list membership, and update audience data on request.

What to expect

Once Constant Contact is connected, you can ask Quin to look up contacts by name or email, see which lists they belong to, or add them to a new list. Quin can create new contacts, update existing contact fields, apply or remove tags, and manage list membership without you switching apps. Contacts can belong to more than one list at a time, so Quin will confirm which list to use if a request is ambiguous. Custom fields must already exist in Constant Contact before Quin can set them — Quin can't create new custom fields on the fly. Because Constant Contact is an opt-in platform, Quin won't add someone as a contact unless you confirm they've agreed to receive email from you. Any changes Quin makes to your Constant Contact data only happen when you explicitly request them.

Troubleshooting

Quin can't find a contact I know exists

  • Try searching by email address rather than name for more precise results
  • Check that the contact hasn't been deleted or marked unsubscribed in Constant Contact
  • Confirm the integration is still connected in your Settings

Quin added a contact but they're not appearing in Constant Contact

  • New contacts may take a moment to appear — wait a few seconds and check again
  • Verify the list name or ID you referenced is correct
  • Go to Integrations and reconnect Constant Contact if the issue persists

Tags aren't being applied or removed

  • Confirm the tag name is spelled correctly — Quin creates new tags automatically if the name doesn't match an existing one
  • Check that you're referencing the correct contact
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting Constant Contact from Integrations

The connection shows as disconnected

  • Go to Integrations and reconnect Constant Contact
  • Check that you haven't revoked Quin's access in your Constant Contact account settings
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration
