Connect ActiveCampaign to Quin for automatic CRM updates, contact syncing, and meeting notes. Ask Quin questions about contacts, create tasks, and keep your CRM current without manual data entry.

Connecting ActiveCampaign to Quin syncs your contacts, accounts, and deals with your CRM. You can ask Quin about any contact, create follow-up tasks, and update records directly from chat.

Before you begin

You need an active ActiveCampaign account. When connecting, you'll need your ActiveCampaign API key and API URL, which are available in your ActiveCampaign account settings under Developer.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click Add Integration
  3. Select ActiveCampaign from the list
  4. Enter your ActiveCampaign API URL and API Key
  5. Click Connect to complete the setup

Your ActiveCampaign integration will now appear as connected on your Integrations page. Quin will sync your existing contacts and deals automatically after connecting.

What to expect

After connecting, Quin keeps your ActiveCampaign records current without manual data entry. When you mention a contact or company in chat, Quin finds the matching record and updates it with notes or next steps. You can ask questions like "What did I last discuss with Sarah?" and Quin pulls the answer directly from ActiveCampaign. After a meeting, Quin attaches notes to the relevant contacts, accounts, and deals — and creates tasks linked to those records when you or a meeting attendee commits to a next step.

Managing the integration

To disconnect ActiveCampaign:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Find the ActiveCampaign integration
  3. Click Disconnect
  4. Confirm to stop syncing

Disconnecting stops all future syncing between Quin and ActiveCampaign. Existing data in both systems remains unchanged.

Troubleshooting

Quin won't connect to ActiveCampaign

  • Confirm you're using your API URL (not your account login URL) — it typically looks like https://youraccountname.api-us1.com
  • Verify the API key is copied in full from your ActiveCampaign Developer settings
  • Check that your ActiveCampaign account has API access enabled

Quin can't find a contact I know exists in ActiveCampaign

  • Try using the contact's email address instead of their name
  • Confirm the contact exists in ActiveCampaign and isn't archived
  • Verify the integration is still connected in Settings > Integrations

Meeting notes aren't appearing in ActiveCampaign

  • Confirm the integration shows as connected in Settings > Integrations
  • Check that you mentioned the contact's name or company during the conversation
  • Verify your ActiveCampaign account permissions allow note creation on contacts and deals

Updates appear in Quin but not in ActiveCampaign

  • Refresh your ActiveCampaign page to see the latest changes
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration
  • Contact support at help@heyquin.io if the issue persists
