Quin displays error messages when something prevents it from completing an action. This page explains common error messages and how to resolve them.

Common error messages

"Unable to connect to [Integration name]"

This means Quin lost connection to one of your integrated tools. To fix this, go to Settings > Integrations, find the disconnected integration, click the pen icon to edit, and click Reconnect. You may need to log in again and grant permissions.

"Meeting not found on calendar"

This appears when Quin can't locate a meeting you're asking about. Check that the meeting exists on your connected calendar. If you have multiple calendars connected, verify the meeting is on one of them.

"Permission denied"

Quin needs additional permissions to complete this action. Go to Settings > Integrations, find the relevant integration, and click Manage permissions. Make sure all required permissions are enabled.

"Unable to send message"

This error appears when Quin can't send an email or text. For emails, verify your email integration is connected. For texts, check that you've added a phone number in Settings > My profile.

"Sync failed"

Quin couldn't sync data with your CRM or other integration. This usually resolves automatically, but you can manually trigger a sync by disconnecting and reconnecting the integration in Settings > Integrations.

"I'm sorry, I've reached the maximum number of replies.  Please try again later."

You've made too many requests in a short time. Wait a few minutes before trying again. This typically happens when importing large amounts of data or making many updates quickly. You might also have exceeded your credit usage limit for the current month and would need to upgrade in Settings > Billing & usage.

"Meeting recording unavailable"

Quin couldn't access the meeting recording. This happens when recording wasn't enabled, the meeting platform didn't save the recording, or Quin wasn't present for the entire meeting.

"Sorry, I had an error while processing your message. Please try again."

This is a general error that occurs when Quin encountered an unexpected problem processing your request. Simply try your request again. If you see this error repeatedly for the same action, try rephrasing your request or breaking it into smaller steps. This error can also appear during temporary system issues that resolve within a few minutes.

What to do if you see an error

  3. Refresh your browser
  4. Check that your integrations are connected in Settings > Integrations
  5. If the error persists, contact support with a screenshot of the error message

Common questions

Why do I keep seeing the same error?

Recurring errors usually indicate a persistent connection or permission problem. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the affected integration. If that doesn't work, you may need to revoke Quin's access in the third-party app and start the integration process from scratch.

Can I turn off error messages?

Error messages alert you to problems that need attention. You can't disable them, but most errors can be permanently resolved by fixing the underlying issue.

What if I don't understand an error message?
