Connect Knudge to Quin to automatically turn meeting action items into client reminders. Send tasks via email, text, or push notification while keeping everything synced in real-time.

Connecting Knudge to Quin automatically creates client tasks from your meeting notes and action items. Clients receive reminders by email, text, or push notification without needing to learn a new tool, and everything stays synced between Quin and Knudge in real-time.

Before you begin

You need an active Knudge account. If you don't have one, visit knudge.com to sign up.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click Add Integration
  3. Select Knudge from the list
  4. Click Connect and sign in to your Knudge account
  5. Review the permissions Quin requests (read and write access to your nudges)
  6. Click Allow to complete the connection

Your Knudge integration will now appear as “Active” in your Integrations page.

What to expect

After connecting Knudge, Quin automatically creates nudges when you capture client action items, follow-ups, or commitments during meetings. Clients receive reminders through their preferred channel (email, text, or push notification) and can check items off their list. When clients mark tasks complete in Knudge, the status updates in Quin instantly so you always know what's done, what's late, and who needs follow-up.

Examples:

  • During a meeting, your client commits to reviewing the investment policy by Friday. Quin creates a nudge in Knudge, and your client receives a reminder via text on Thursday.
  • Your client checks off "Submit tax documents" in their Knudge app, and the task immediately shows as complete in your Quin dashboard.
  • You tell Quin "Sarah needs to update her beneficiary form," and Quin creates a nudge that sends Sarah an email reminder with the action item and due date.

How it works

Quin keeps your nudges synchronized between both systems:

Automatic nudge creation - Action items and commitments captured during client meetings automatically become nudges in Knudge with appropriate due dates and details.

Client reminders - Clients receive timely reminders via email, text, or push notification based on their preferences. They don't need to register for a new tool or log in to anything.

Shared visibility - You and your clients see the same to-do list. Clients can view their action items and check off completed tasks, while you track progress from your Quin dashboard.

Real-time sync - When clients mark tasks complete in Knudge, the status updates immediately in Quin. Changes you make in Quin also sync to Knudge instantly.

Client prioritization - Your Quin dashboard aggregates action items across your entire client base and highlights items that require attention or are overdue.

Managing the integration

To disconnect Google Tasks:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Find the Knudge integration
  3. Click Disconnect
  4. Confirm to stop syncing

Disconnecting stops all future syncing between Quin and Knudge. Existing nudges in both systems remain unchanged.

Troubleshooting

Tasks I create in Quin aren't appearing in Knudge

  • Verify the integration is still connected in Settings > Integrations
  • Check that you have permission to create nudges in your Knudge account
  • Confirm the task is assigned to a client (not yourself)
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration

Client completion status isn't updating in Quin

  • Give the sync a few seconds to update
  • Refresh Quin to see the latest changes
  • Check your internet connection is stable
  • Verify the client marked the task complete in their Knudge notifications (not just in conversation)

Clients aren't receiving reminder notifications

  • Confirm the client's email or phone number is correct in your Knudge account
  • Check that notification preferences are enabled in the client's Knudge settings
  • Verify the task has a due date (nudges without due dates may not send reminders)
  • Check your Knudge notification settings to ensure reminders are turned on

Due dates aren't syncing correctly

  • Verify your timezone is set correctly in both Quin and Knudge account settings
  • Check that you specified a clear date when creating the task in Quin
  • Try editing the due date in Knudge and see if it updates in Quin
