Basecamp

The Basecamp integration lets Quin create and manage projects, to-do lists, and tasks in Basecamp directly from your meetings and conversations. When Quin captures action items or commitments, it can add them to the right Basecamp project without you switching tabs.

How to set it up

1. Go to Settings > Integrations
2. Select Basecamp
3. Sign in with your Basecamp account and grant Quin access
4. Your Basecamp integration will now appear as 'Active' in your Integrations page

What to expect

Once Basecamp is connected, Quin can create, update, and complete to-dos, organize them into to-do lists, and manage projects — all from chat or automatically based on your meetings. You can ask Quin to add a task to a specific project by name, and Quin will search your Basecamp account to find the right place for it. If a project name is ambiguous, Quin will ask for clarification before creating anything.

What Quin can do in Basecamp

With Basecamp connected, you can ask Quin to:

• Create, update, or delete projects
• Create, update, or delete to-do lists within a project
• Create, update, complete, or delete to-dos within a to-do list
• Search for existing projects, lists, and tasks by name

Troubleshooting

Quin isn't creating tasks in Basecamp

• Confirm your Basecamp integration is Active in Settings > Integrations
• Verify that your Basecamp account has permission to create to-dos in the relevant project
• Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration, then ask Quin to try again

Tasks are appearing in the wrong project

• Include the project name when asking Quin to create a task
• If multiple projects share a similar name, Quin will ask you to confirm before creating

Quin can't find a project or to-do list

• Check that the project exists and is not archived in Basecamp
• Use the exact project name when asking Quin to search
