Asset-Map
Connect Asset-Map to Quin and automatically log meeting notes, update household records, and manage financial instruments after every client call.
Quin's Asset-Map integration keeps your client households updated after every meeting. When connected, Quin logs meeting notes to household records, updates member details, and tracks financial instruments — without you having to touch Asset-Map manually.
Before you begin
- You must have an active Asset-Map account
- Your calendar must be connected to Quin (connect your calendar)
- Notetaker must be enabled in Notetaker settings
How to set it up
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Select Asset-Map from the list of available integrations
- Enter your Asset-Map API key when prompted
- Click Connect
You can use Guidelines to control exactly what Quin logs to Asset-Map after meetings. Guidelines are instructions that tell Quin how to process your meetings, like "Always update the household record after client calls" or "Log a note when a new financial instrument is discussed."
What to expect
After connecting Asset-Map, Quin will automatically update your household records after each meeting where Notetaker is active. Quin matches attendees to existing Asset-Map households and logs meeting notes accordingly. You can also ask Quin directly to search households, manage household members, or update financial instruments through the chat interface at any time.
Troubleshooting
Quin isn't logging notes to Asset-Map after meetings
- Confirm your Asset-Map integration is connected under Settings > Integrations
- Make sure Notetaker was active for the meeting
- Check that the meeting attendee exists as a household member in Asset-Map — Quin matches by email address
Quin can't find a household in Asset-Map
- Verify the household exists in Asset-Map and that the member's email matches what was on the meeting invite
- If the household is new, ask Quin to create it directly via chat
Financial instruments aren't updating in Asset-Map
- Confirm the instrument details were captured in the meeting recap
- Review your Guidelines to confirm you have an instruction for instrument updates
My Asset-Map connection is showing as disconnected
- Re-authenticate by returning to Settings > Integrations and reconnecting Asset-Map
- API keys can expire or be revoked — generate a new one in your Asset-Map account if needed
