Client anniversary
Celebrate and acknowledge client milestone anniversary years.
I want to celebrate and acknowledge when my clients reach milestone anniversaries of working together. This workflow identifies clients reaching milestone anniversary years and prepares personalized email drafts for me to review.
Follow these steps:
1. Search my CRM for my clients whose client anniversary date falls within the next 7 days and are milestone years: 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, or 50th anniversary.
2. For each client identified, draft a personalized anniversary email in my draft folder. Follow these rules:
- Keep the tone warm and appreciative.
- Acknowledge the specific milestone year.
- Thank them for their trust and partnership over the years.
- Reference something specific about your relationship if available (early conversations, challenges overcome together, goals achieved, etc.).
- Keep it genuine and heartfelt, not overly formal or salesy.
- Use the following example for inspiration:
<Example>
Hi [First Name],
I just noticed that we're coming up on [X] years of working together, and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. It's been a privilege to be part of your journey, and I'm grateful for the trust you've placed in me over the years.
[Optional personal reference - e.g., "I still remember our first meeting when we talked about your retirement goals" or "It's been wonderful watching your family grow and being able to support you through so many life changes"].
Here's to many more years ahead. Thank you for letting me be part of your financial life.
All the best,
</Example>
3. Send me an email with a list of all clients who have milestone anniversaries this week. Include their names, the specific milestone year they're celebrating, and their anniversary date. This will serve as a notification for me to check my drafts folder to review and send the emails.
