Opportunities closing soon
Stay on top of opportunities approaching their close date so nothing falls through the cracks.
I want to stay on top of opportunities approaching their close date so nothing falls through the cracks. This workflow gives me a weekly view of what needs my attention.
Follow these steps:
1. Check my CRM for all opportunities assigned to me with a closing date that falls within the current week (in the next 7 days).
2. For each opportunity, pull the following information:
- Opportunity name
- Contact or company name
- Closing date
- Current stage
- Deal value if available
- Days until close
3. Check for any open tasks assigned to me related to each opportunity. Include:
- Task name
- Due date
- Task status
4. Check for any recent emails to/from the contacts associated with the opportunity.
5. Sort the opportunities by closing date with the soonest first.
6. Send me a summary email organized with the following information:
- Total number of opportunities closing this week
- Total value of opportunities closing this week if available
- List of opportunities with details for each:
- Opportunity name
- Contact/company name
- Closing date (and days until close)
- Current stage
- Deal value
- Any open tasks related to this opportunity
- Highlight any opportunities that have overdue tasks or are in early stages despite approaching close date
