Stalled opportunities
Identify opportunities that have gone quiet so you can re-engage and prevent them from going cold.
I want to identify opportunities that have gone quiet so I can re-engage before they go completely cold. This workflow flags deals that need my attention.
Follow these steps:
1. Check my CRM for all open opportunities assigned to me.
2. For each opportunity, determine the date of my last logged activity. Logged activity includes: emails sent or received, meetings held, calls logged, or notes added to the opportunity record.
3. Identify any opportunities where I haven't logged activity in the past 30 days as stalled.
4. For each stalled opportunity, pull the following information:
- Opportunity name
- Contact or company name
- Current stage
- Deal value if available
- Closing date if set
- Date of last activity
- Days since last activity
- Type of last activity (email, meeting, call, note)
5. Check for any open tasks assigned to me related to each stalled opportunity. Include:
- Task name
- Due date
- Task status (especially if overdue)
6. Sort the opportunities by days since last activity, with the longest time since activity first.
7. Send me a summary email organized with the following information:
- Total number of stalled opportunities (no activity in 30+ days)
- Total value of stalled opportunities if available
- List of opportunities with details for each:
* Opportunity name
* Contact/company name
* Current stage
* Deal value
* Closing date
* Days since last activity
* Last activity type
* Any open or overdue tasks
- Recommendation to reach out and re-engage, or consider moving to closed-lost if appropriate
