Wealthbox and Quin: a daily brief before your first meeting
June 10, 2026
The first meeting of the day is often the hardest one to prep for, not because it's complicated, but because there's no buffer before it. No fifteen minutes to review the household's file, no chance to recall what was discussed last time, just whatever you remember walking in.
What a good morning check-in usually requires
- Knowing who's on the calendar and how they fit into the day, not just a name and a time.
- Recalling what was discussed last time, without digging through Wealthbox first.
- Seeing what's still open from a prior conversation, so you don't promise the same thing twice.
- Noticing anything time-sensitive tied to that household, a birthday, an account deadline, before the meeting instead of after.
How Quin builds a morning brief from Wealthbox
Each morning, Quin can put together a short brief using what's in Wealthbox and what's on the calendar: who's on the schedule, a reminder of what came up in the last conversation with each of them, and anything open that's tied to that household. It's ready before the first meeting starts, not pulled together in the few minutes before you need it.
Picture a Tuesday with a prospective client at nine, a long-time household at ten, and a quick check-in at eleven. Normally, prepping for each of those means three separate trips into Wealthbox, squeezed into the few minutes before each call. With a morning brief in place, that prep is already sitting in your inbox before the day starts, built from whatever Wealthbox and the calendar already know about each conversation.
Best practices for setting this up
- Decide how far ahead the brief should look. Some advisors want just today covered; others prefer tomorrow included too.
- Tell Quin which details matter most for a household summary, whether that's account activity, a life event, or an open task.
- Adjust the guidelines after the first week, once you've seen what the brief includes and what it's missing.
- Pair this with the Notetaker, so the brief reflects what happened in yesterday's meetings, not just what was already logged before that.
Setting it up
Connect Wealthbox and your calendar under Settings, then Integrations, and set up the morning brief workflow to run before your day starts. From there, the first meeting of the day gets the same preparation as the fifth.
